Alumni Ventures Group’s non-profit, 10,000 Entrepreneurs (10KE), is aimed at helping young adults explore entrepreneurial careers. The program is coordinated by Head of Outreach Drew Wandzilak, who also serves as Junior Director of Campus Outreach at AVG and an Associate with the firm’s Basecamp Fund. As a self-described entrepreneurial junkie, Drew was attracted to AVG’s mission of expanding access to venture capital, a mission he’s helped build on with the company’s 10KE initiative. Listen as Drew talks about the history, mission, and progress of the program.
The 10KE program provides undergraduate college students with stipends for summer work at a fast-growing company or their own startup. In 2020, 10KE plans to award a minimum of 25 scholarships, $2,500 apiece for individuals and $5,000 apiece for teams.
- Apply for the 10KE Internship Grant by March 23, 2020 to be considered in the second round of applicants.
